A fusion sushi roll combining the flavors of scallops and garlic-infused pasta, offering a unique twist on traditional sushi rolls.
Ingredients:
- 150g sushi rice
- 4 large scallops, thinly sliced
- 50g cooked pasta, chilled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Nori sheets
Instructions:
Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt to create a marinade
Add sliced scallops to the marinade and let them marinate for 10 minutes
Spread a thin layer of sushi rice on a nori sheet
Place a layer of chilled pasta on top of the rice
Evenly distribute marinated scallop slices on the pasta layer
Sprinkle minced garlic on top of the scallops
Roll the sushi tightly using a bamboo mat
Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife
Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger
