Sweet & Savory Maple Bourbon Salmon



The maple syrup and bourbon in this Sweet & Savory Maple Bourbon Salmon recipe go well with the soy sauce and Dijon mustard, which make the dish savory. The end result is flaky, tender salmon with a sweet caramel glaze that's great for any event.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, and ginger

Place salmon fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper

Pour the maple bourbon sauce over the salmon, making sure to coat evenly

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork

Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving
