Ingredients:
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 325F 165C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Put the sugared coconut flakes, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl
Whisk the egg whites in a different bowl until they form stiff peaks
Fold the whipped egg whites into the coconut mixture slowly until everything is well mixed
Drop small balls of the mixture onto the baking sheet that has been prepared
You can use a spoon or a cookie scoop for this
Before you put the macaroons in the oven, heat it up
Bake them for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown
Take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down
After the Angel Food Macaroons have cooled, put them in a container that won't let air in
